Galt Medical Corporation was founded in 1991, in Garland, Texas. Focusing on Interventional Radiology, Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Surgery; Galt Medical designs develops, manufactures, and markets disposable medical devices for both adults and children.
NeedleTech Products, founded in 1988 in Massachusetts, addressed the needs of Medical Device Manufacturers. Needle Point Grinding became the first of many manufacturing competencies, subsequently followed by Stainless Steel Component Fabrication, Insert Injection Molding, Complete Device Assembly and final Sterile Product Packaging.
Over the years of 2006 to 2008, Galt Medical Corporation and NeedleTech Products united, to subsequently form GaltNeedleTech. In April 2014, Galt opened a manufacturing facility in Costa Rica. As of 2019, Galt is again operating under the name Galt Medical Corp.
Medical markets served to include Interventional Radiology, Interventional Oncology, Spine and Biologics, Safety Devices, Sports Medicine, Implanter Devices and Pain Management. As a result, the business offers a variety of introducer sheaths, valved introducer sheaths, specialty guidewires, catheters, and specialty needles, focusing on interventional, endovascular, and vascular access specialties.
All three manufacturing facilities (Costa Rica/Massachusetts/Texas) have FDA registration and ISO 13485 certification. From concept to final packaging, the dedicated Contract Management project teams commit to excellence.
