GaltMedical is pleased to add a Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) Extended Catheter to their product portfolio. Traditionally, PD catheters have had their exit-site located on the patient’s lower abdomen. However, publications state that users find best clinical results, including catheter longevity, when the PD catheter exit-site is located at the most appropriate body location for each individual patient, based on their body habitus or preference.
